Welcome!

I'm so glad that you've joined me in discovering the world around me.

Recently my life has taken several unusual turns. I've discovered that I'm too focused on the things that the world says that I need to be. And in the process I'm missing out on some amazing things.

Join me as I go through life learning more about the simple things and noticing the beauty God has put right in front of me.

Ephesians 5:13-14

But everything exposed by the light becomes visible, for it is light that makes everything visible. This is why it is said: “Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.”

Why do you want anything exposed? Because when it stays in the dark the problems grow and fester. They get uglier and uglier. The big problem is that you don’t see all this because it is in the dark. While things are hidden we think all is well. We think that there is nothing wrong. But just a little light shone on it exposes a lot. With Christ in your life, you can see all that ugliness. All the festered parts of your life. Why would you want that? Because only then, when you can actually see it, can it be cleaned up. Only then can you get rid of all the hurt, guilt, all the burdens, all the anxiety. Let Christ clean up the festering wound. Let the light shine in and before long all will be spotless and clean.
